Sometimes in RPGs, character deaths occur. I think that is what makes RPGs fun, the risk vs. reward. Death is a real possibility in the adventuring life. Sure, there is a chance of gold and glory, but more likely, the fate that awaits those that go out of their way to face off against danger is a warrior's death. Death or glory? Maybe both.
