Because not everything is black and white

Most of my work is in black and white since I tend to do interior art for small press role playing game publications. That is not to say that everything I do is black and white. For Expeditious Retreat Press, I've done quite a few color covers for their Advanced Adventures line. Well, I say I do color covers, to be clear, my wife does the coloring on my work. My wife is not really involved in the gaming scene but she does appreciate my love for it and is happy to participate. The cover you see here is the front cover of Redtooth Ridge. I had a lot of fun with this one and I think that my wife did a great job of capturing the moody lighting of a typical dungeon delve. I love the fire and the glowing eyes on the rats.
