Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea
Greetings! I've been pretty busy doing work on my latest project, Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea hard back edition. If you aren't familiar with the game, it is a "retroclone" of older editions of Dungeons and Dragons (Specifically the 1st edition of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons). AS&SH is heavily influenced by the writings of R.E. Howard (Conan) and H.P. Lovecraft (Call of Cthulhu) and other pulp authors in the weird tales vein. The setting is Hyperborea, a land beyond the north wind. Strange magics exist side by side with high technology from lost cultures. It is a fun world where you can emulate anything from straight up swords and sorcery ala Conan, toss in some eldritch horror via Lovecraft, play a more Flash Gordon inspired game, or post apocalyptic like maybe Thundarr the Barbarian or DC Comics Warlord to name a few. Anyway, a Kick starter will commence in the later portion of October for the hardback edition of the game. I am very excited about this particular project. Nah, I'm going to give it a go. I tend to do things on a glacially slow timescale though :)
Cool. Keep the posts coming when you can and eventually you'll build up a following. I'm kind of in the same boat, as I like to review and edit stuff over and over before posting, and I have a lot of other responsibilities on top.
I tried to get Brett on here for his clean water charity but it seems he didn't get it.
