Is a fictional character in the series of novels Harry Potter, by the British writer J. K. Rowling. The birth name of Lord Voldemort is Tom Marvolo Riddle, 1 (renamed as Tom Sorvolo Riddle for the Spanish version published in Spain). He was born in Wools Orphanage, London, on December 31, 1926, and died at the Hogwarts School of Magic and Witchcraft, Scotland, on May 2, 1998. Both the orphanage and the school are fictional places invented by the author. .
