The Disguisers: Final Artwork

Hi guys! This is my IGCSE Visual Art coursework from the previous school year, basically showcasing how people hide their true feelings.

I often find many people and myself attempting to be "lazy”: we don't express our true feelings but often we obey the mainstream. Speaking about myself, I can’t even count how many opportunities I have lost just because I changed my mind due to the attitudes and opinions of others. I called myself and the similar people, the disguiser, because we pretend to be happy and get along with it.

My final outcome is a 2.5 Dimension sculpture with lego pieces in-between each layer to separate them. The reason for that is the 2.5 dimension brings interaction between viewers and artwork- you have to tilt your head and peek into the interspaces to explore what’s hidden in between, which emphasizes the disguiser’s feelings that they normally won’t express them.
