Actually, the photos of this painting are rather poor, especially the skin tones (illuminated by a mix of natural and LED light). It's really vivid in reality and it better be: All Schmincke Horadam, no cheap "practice paint" this time.

I painted after a reference photo. I'm not that far yet to make up complicated scenes in my head. So far, I find it hard enough to really see things and figure out how to translate them into paint. All in good time...
