Plague Doctor - settled in medieval and Renaissance Europe doctor definition, primary responsibility is to the treatment of patients with bubonic plague or "Black Death", especially during epidemics. A distinctive feature of the plague doctor was a special protective suit with the original "big-nosed" mask resembling a bird's beak.
