A 3D Fractal
This Fractal was created with a Free Program for PC called Mandelbulb3d. It has a bit of a learning curve to it, but not to difficult to figure out, if you have used other Fractal apps/software.

How cool would it be to see a real life sculpture of this?!
Yes that would be cool. Even a 3D printed version would be fun to see. These things are just so fascinating specially when making them. You can zoom through the complete structure and view any angle of it. Its hard to find a stopping point and what to render sometimes.
Yeah I was thinking that same exact thing.. Those balls would be nice in some holographic pearl type paint with the frame of the piece being a very nice metallic silver.
Or even cooler if that was some sort of scene in space where the earth was that big ball and all the other ball were planets...
Sweet fractal art mate! Like the reflective surface too!
Thank you
Nice! I'm very curious about learning how to create fractals :O
Woody and I and a few others are here to help, first download the software and poke around.
Get a feel for how it works, you can't break it, so click some buttons, then ask questions when you get stuck.
Here are some good introduction videos on how to get up to speed on this program "Mandelbulb3D" , you can download the software at this website too.
Heres some tutorials on the other software we use, JWildfire. You can download JWildfire here.
Hey Woody!
Hello Craig
Thanks
