In my head, dancing to the rhythm is very different to dancing to the beat, when you dance to the rhythm you're almost taking multiple levels of the music, associating them to a feeling or a move and anticipating the music next.
Amazing dancer, given that you didn't know the song. In fact it looks that way in the video, you're getting your bearings at the beginning then once you've felt the pattern you really jump into it.
