studio update 33
Experimenting a bit collaging canvases together.
Spend a few hours over the weekend scrubbing the windows. Well worth it, they let in more light now.
Feels good to have all this floor space to work with. Very liberating indeed.
In contact with a professional photographer to document the body of work I made last year in my apartment. He charges $175 an hour plus $5 per photograph. Yikes! oh Well, thats why I get a Christmas Bonus at work I guess

Good work and awesome studio! I love reusing old works or part thereof to make new works with. Expensive photgrapher though! Especially when charginf an artist...

Honestly, at that rate, it doesn't hurt to look into maybe getting yourself a decent camera. If you get a tripod, and make sure that the light is relatively equal on the canvas, you can take good shots yourself. A little bit of post production and they are ready to be published. That would be my suggestion unless you're looking for very very high resolution pictures, to print wall size.
On top of that, a lot of the new models have really good video capabilities, you would gain access to another tool for your skate videos and other edits as well :D
yeahh, thats a good point. he brings his big lights that flash with the camera when it goes off. yeah i dont know... i guess i hope my work is worth photographing so professionally. i have been using my cell phone to photograph my work since the advent of smartphones so its worth a shot.

so sick! a skater, a patron, and an artist! following and excited to see more of your work. I've been following your steemit skate competition and fully support! i wrote a comment tagging you saying why i won't be participating (I'm a cruising long boarder about 4k miles away from my boards ;p) but love all the contest and informal communities happening bc of these contests in steemit. love what you're doing from an academic perspective as well - its amazing whats possible on these platforms when everything is open sourced and shared.
ps a good friend of mine is a pro skater and artist as well. we studied together and she's the biggest badass in life :

thanks! and yea we went to grad school together and used to take skate breaks from studio to keep sane during the long days/nights ;p id love to get her into steemit but she's not the social media type haha
