“Pixel Plexus” : Animation Art
Animated GIFs are instruments for storytelling.
For the Steemit canvas they provide a dynamic narrative component in writing, design, poetry, art and step-by-step tutorials. Here are the beginnings of “Pixel Plexus” - an animation series that plays off of the dimension-body in a Steemit post and the progression of a story as you scroll down the page. I hope to develop this into a kind of architectural-storytelling language that’s native to this platform.
In this sequence, linework was drawn in Rhinoceros > imported into Illustrator > finished in After Effects. I hope you enjoy these digital doodlings in progress...
