It must have been a surreal moment to discover your idea in the exhibition...
One of the most impressive exhibitions I've been to was The Jewels of the Al'Thani Collection. It was truly spectacular to see those fascinating pieces of jewellery art from up close. But I particularly liked the video at the end, where they show how craftsmen create such beautiful pieces of wearable art in their very simple worshops...
It's having the opportunity to see such creativity, as you say 'up close' that makes it special - in a way regardless of value or age, @vliet.
Have you had time to do any more crocheting ?
Oh, thanks for asking. I am working on my Irish crochet dress, nothing exciting to report yet, just the painful daily grind...:-)
