Cthulhu - animated pixel art GIF - pixel art weekly round 12

Hey fellow steemians ,

I just discovered this weekly pixel art contest hosted weekly by @jonny-clearwater.
This weekly challenge round no. 12 theme is Cthulhu !!!!!! So i decided to enter with this GIF.

What is pixel art ?

Pixel art is a form of digital art, created through the use of software,
where images are edited on the pixel level.

Contests will begin on Mondays, at which point the theme for the week will be revealed.
On Fridays @jonny-clearwater will post the top 3 and allow steemit users to vote for the final winner.
Winners will be announced on Sundays and will be rewarded half of all steem raised on that weeks posts.
To participate, contestants must put their entry in the comments of the contest thread. They must also upvote and resteem the post.
Tag any and all personal posts regarding your entry with #pixelartweekly
Bonus points will be awarded for animated gifs.
All entries must be original works of art.

Edit : did not know the 3d artist's name earlier , this is the image i used to squish down to 250-ish pixels , paint over slightly and then add the shoulders and robe etc. then upscale by 400% with hard edges. Added a little idle animation to make the Gif with a bit of lightening sparks from his eyes , lol .
Sounds like my entry should be disqualified for using that artists image ! I'd say i should have thought it through , didnt realise that i should have painted it from scratch. Anyway , had fun creating this as well !
