Practice and people watching - a study in gestures
I enjoy people watching so much that sometimes I'll get caught staring. And yes, I'm the type of person that continues to stare. I come from retail management so I'm always aware of my surroundings. Side note, I've got light footsteps and I'm petite, if you're not paying attention then I'll try to scare you. My former employees were always on edge. 😝

I did some gesture studies at the coffee shop. It's the perfect environment for people watching. All the patrons are engrossed in their work.
I took a short break from people and sketched animals in movement. I might do a few sketches on little bears, they're so silly.

First of all..those two gif's are awesome. Both of those little bears could probably already kill me.
Secondly, the drawings are great. It's super interesting to see how you structure the drawing. I have above average drawing skills...but nothing close to your league. I clearly don't see objects and shapes and where movement originates from and hinges on as you do. It's slightly eye opening. I find those that have the ability to take what they see and relay it onto a canvas to be especially interesting and note-worthy.
Thank you so much! You flatter me. I still have a long way to go myself, which is why practice helps. If you look back on my previous posts, if there is a hyperlapse video, you'll see how I use shapes to map out my drawings. I'm trying to nab an anatomy book to get a better understand of the body. There are apps that I've downloaded for the iPad Pro like ArtPoseFE. (http://www.art-pose.com/artpose.html) It gives you an option of skin or muscles on the body, pretty neat.
