'The End Of The Day'

Here is one for all of you romantic people out there if there is anyone left... :D I've enjoyed this beautiful sunset and took it with me as a memento to a sunny day spent by the sea. The silent murmur of the waves and the air full of Mediterranean scents made it one of those special moments one can rarely forget.

Sun's aura is reaching high in the sky and together with alternating hues makes it an exceptional photograph. The dark surroundings are still visible enough to create compelling atmosphere and carry the good mood forth. The colours are at the very edge of acceptable saturation. One step further and it would just be too much. The balance is always the key.

The dark foreground adds mystery to the photo and separates the observer from the sunset, creating a safe spot to watch it from. Not that we need one, but there it is! :D
