'Tribute to Mondrian'

My collection of painted public water faucets continues with a new addition. Any connoisseur of art will immediately spot what is this one about. Piet Mondrian decided to throw away many norms, along with curved lines and three-dimensional space. His works exhibit a perfect sense of balancing primary colours on the canvas. The artist who gave him a tribute painted the water faucet in an undisputable Mondrian style.

I added a touch of surreal in the photograph. Do you notice something is not real? Do you sense that there is an "off" element? Inspired by the whole idea, I decided to remove a part of a shadow in order to achieve a similar "Mondrian" balance for the entire photograph. However, since I didn't remove all of it, a surreal effect is achieved. It feels weird but one doesn't notice it at the first glance.

Notice the difference of colour saturation between the faucet and the ground. Also, the blue accent is quite strong in this, overall, warm image.

Hope that I find some more of these colour faucets. I am not searching for them. I take a photo when I come across them. I tend to cherish a strong belief in the charm of unexpected.

Enjoy! :)

The tip of faucet is curved but seems straight in the shadow which make this picture very different.

very nice photography.

i like to tribute mandria.. Mondrian chooses to filter out world representations for vertical and horizontal elements, which are an important force, positive and negative, dynamic and static, masculine and feminine. Its dynamic balance of compositions reflects what are perceived as the universal forces of these forces. Mondrian's single vision for modern art is evident in the methodical methodology of its art style from its traditional representation to abstraction.
His painting became-logically, and also evident from various modern art movements such as luminism, Impressionism, and most importantly, Cubism. Mondrian, and other artists from De Stijl, embrace pure abstractions with color palettes that are suitable for universal use in all universal art. Using basic shapes and colors, Mondrian believes that his vision in modern art will transcend divisions in culture and become a common new language in pure colors, shape flatness, and tension in the canvas.really you giving very qualityfull art of your blog.just awesome..thanks to sharing for your best post..my dear friend.. @velimir

A stick, a stick, a cucumber, it turned out ... the simplistic and absurd simplistic style of Pieter Cornelis Mondriaan. He purposely created his masterpieces from elementary lines and forms. As you know, all ingenious is simple, and this technique made the artist's style recognizable at first sight.

I was curious to know about Pete Mondrian. This is how this artist is characterized in the Internet :) I like it when an artist attaches importance to "ordinary" exhumations that are left unattended in everyday life. We often do not notice the wonderful things that surround us. We consider them a commonplace. Namely, such people allow us to see ordinary things - but in a different way. Under a different angle of perception.

You managed to do this. Yes, first of all, the shadow of the photo aroused my doubts until I read your description. It looks frankly bold and unusual. No, of course, we see quite a common thing, but it attracts attention. First of all, this perception creates a foreshortening under which you photographed it. But the main thing is a shadow, because it creates a feeling of doubt!

Most of your photos you did unexpectedly for yourself. I always thought that you specifically find the right moment to do it. But it turned out that it's not you who find the right moment, but the moment finds you!

Thank you, I liked it

Piet Mondrian is one of the founders of the De Stijl movement in the Netherlands. It is recognized as a competent methodical abstraction and practice.

Radically, it simplifies that there are no objects to reflect what is perceived as the spiritual underlying of the world with a universal and visible language in the canvas. In his best paintings of the 1920s, Mondrian reduced the shape and length, and the palette to the basic foundation of the pure.

This time he uses asymmetrical balance and simplified picture vocabulary. This is very important in modern art and iconic abstract works that remain in popular design and culture today. As a theorist and writer, Mondrian believed that the underlying spirituality of nature. He simplifies the eyes of his painting lessons to the most elementary elements, with the aim of revealing the essence of the mystical energy in the balance that governs nature and the universe.

Mondrian chooses to filter out world representations for vertical and horizontal elements, which are an important force, positive and negative, dynamic and static, masculine and feminine. Mondrian's book on Neo-Plasticism became one of the most important documents of abstract art. In it, he is broadly visual as an artistic expression in which "plastic" is simply called the action of shapes and colors on the surface of the canvas as a new method for representing modern reality.

Good day! I never cease to enjoy your beautiful picture. I'm not very keen on artists and their paintings. But your post pushed me to study Mondrian's style, and it turned out that he is really unusual and beautiful in his own way. Thank you for what you are doing!

That is so cool. It adds a vibrant feel to an otherwise dull and boring fixture around town. Here in Ottawa, we have painted tulips all over the downtown area. They were painted by school children in their classes. They are quite wonderful to see.

Mondarin art is truly amazing for those who dont know about the artist Piet Mondarin

Piet Mondrian was a Dutch painter known for his simplistic, yet distinct style developed as part of the De Stijl movement. Known as “The Style” in English or Neoplasticism, he used straight lines and a limited palette to deconstruct reality and depict its “true” form. More than mere aesthetics, Mondrian also considered his works as a means to satisfy the spirit. You can read more here

Even right now its still a bit hard for me to single out what you've done in the image except i have to go back and forth. Excellent Mandarin touch, will be looking forward to seeing more

Mondrian is really amazing artist. This water faucet is really beautiful and as tribute to Mondrian it makes me wonder how Mondrians works would have been. You perfected this piece with the touch you added.
I sincerely wouldn’t have noticed it though, if not because you mentioned it. I was blown by its beauty
