'Light and Dark'
This is a study of surfaces, tonalities and the impact of light on them. Dark surface is different than the light one. It is made of small stones, while the light is made out of large ones. There are light and shade on both. The shadow on the dark surface almost completely takes away the low end of the tonality scale but not completely. The same thing goes for the light on the stones. Notice how the detail in the top left corner is still preserved even though the light is very close to burning it out. Shadow on the lighter area does the same as the light on the dark surface - evens out and creates the middle tones.*
I also composed it so that the areas are quite similar in size. This is about the eternal clash of the opposites, good and evil, right and wrong, yin and yang and so on. There are little yellow details in the dark part and some more in the light area. They add life to the image and help us understand that not many things are often only black and white. There are always so many shades in-between.
We should always make sure that we understand those areas well.

The struggle between good and evil is a vein topic for discussion. Firstly, because in different nations and different periods of time the concept of good and evil had different sides. That for some people is good, then for other people it will be bad. People themselves set themselves the limits of what is permissible and adhere to them. That is, they themselves create "good" and themselves create "evil." According to the laws of the universe, these things must be in eternal harmony. But it is not always the case.
Opposites have always been and will be and this is normal. I believe that exactly the opposite is the key to progress. Especially this effect is manifested when one group of people who consider themselves good tries to overtake (in science, technology) another group of people whom they consider to be bad. Perhaps this is not the best example, but it has a place to be.
We can only guess what is waiting for us in the future and whether the notion of morality of good and evil will change in the future.

No one can breathe in a complex view. The vivid life is colorful, full of feeling, full of wonder, full of mystery that always provides an open space for ever endless interpretations with black or white dots but black and white, light and dark, Yin and Yang, good and evil is the basic color of life.
As a base, black and white gives birth to other colors. Because black and white are representations of contradictory and unpredictable life facts never see the events of life from black or white, light or dark, good or evil only as two poles or forces that the drugs disagree as a harmony that becomes gray because it is life is not as simple as black vs white but gray. If the darkness begins to surround your life, be sure always that cloudy will rain, and the sun will shine brightly in your life again.
Nature has taught us many things as an open book to see and interpret life is not limited to black or white. "Among the Black and White always tucked The Unexpected Gray".

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it. And there are so many colors and things between white and black. You have described this very perfectly and beautifuly.

I, though at first I noticed a building block hovering in the open sky and I was wrong, I still like this contrast, and the symmetrical division of your work.

I remember someone once took exception to an especially dark personality I wrote about. People are complex, I was told, no one is all good or all bad. But I didn't change my portrayal. I couldn't see beyond the shadows, and to write what I didn't see would have been dishonest. Your picture is more nuanced. It doesn't fade into absolute darkness or absolute light. A thought-provoking piece.

Veo una gran Torre de Piedras que se eleva hasta las alturas. A un lado se puede ver el firmamento con gran cantidad de estrellas y constelaciones. Las naves que traen seres a nuestro mundo o quizás se lleven nuestras preocupaciones y angustias. Espero sean amigables.
