The treading of grapes is a tradition that remained in the memory, I do not know if there are still places where they continue practicing this form to extract wine after the harvest, but I like that it has been industrialized ;) Happy day, @velimir.
The treading of grapes is a fundamental step in the elaboration of wines. I have seen how in some movies, this task is done to the rhythm of some music and the tread becomes a party. Until recently, the treading of grapes had been replaced by the appearance of machines that are capable of doing this work mechanically.
However, in recent years this practice has resurfaced due to the tourist interest it arouses in wine lovers. A toast to your health, @velimir! ;)
A practice that perhaps goes back to the old Dionysian or Bacchic rituals. It must be a pleasant sensation to step on grapes; feet will enjoy waw nectar from the gods before our brains. Some special taste will give the drink, more if it's the product of the work of such pretty girls. Cheers!
