This is a great post and the quote you open with from Chomsky is key in understanding how Western society propaganda works so effectively. They frame the debate and ignore all other perspectives beyond the options provided in the initial framing.
I agree with your opinion, and they think the world will accept their reason, whereas the opposite is true, but we have no other choice, because they will never make a choice
