Which way will you choose?
Will you follow everyone else into the jaws of the great gaping monster; or will you make your own path? You would think the long rolled out tongue must be the right direction; since everone else is going that way; but you see a few people ahead choose to wander off the path in their own directions. Perhaps you will do the same; they seem smarter than the rest.
My answer to the Dada conversation Just A Second. Not really finished; I hit enter before I could fix some of the teeth a bit, mesh it more with the previous image, and other things; but I think it is okay.

Good god this is awesome. He looks 3d. I can never quite achieve your level of professionalism, subtlety and attention to detail, I am so all over the place.
I set a low opacity on my brush and then build up layers of colour.
*Leaders follow their own direction. But then I'm not sure I'm leader material. That said, I certainly don't believe I possess half the qualities necessary to thrive amongst sheep.
From the Just a second link, I notice there's a fish in the thing's ear. Is that fish escaping or trying to find an alternative way in? On the poker table, I do have some fish-like qualities. So I'm told.

*(Edit: To avoid accusations of plagiarism, I guess I should point out I was trying to repeat one of my favourite quotes included in Sid Meir's Civilisation V. Looking for it, I couldn't find it on google. I did however come across: "The wisest men follow their own direction" by Euripides which was probably the original source of my quote / misquote.)
There are different kinds of leaders. Some appear as hermits, or lone travelers; but they are full of wisdom if you give them a chance to tell their story. Not all leaders lead directly or immediatly; some have to find wisdom first before they share it.
You will have to ask @opheliafu, but my theory is the worm whispers subliminal messages in the monsters ear; a great path for an artist to take:)
this is utterly terrifying! but its good in a way because art should make you feel every emotion at some point.

Life itself can devour you. I worked a job for over ten years that began to make me very miserable. I actually forgot what it was like to enjoy my work and be happy in life after awhile. After several injuries I finally smartened up and got out.
But your interpretation still holds up; the paths we choose decide our faite.
