Getting art ready for next opening.
Not even sure what I am going to call this first piece, but this is all part of the thinking I will put into getting ready for the next opening at the Hive December 9th.
So far I have sorted artwork, frames and mounting boards into this box for now. Hoping I will be able to change up my wall for the next show; but that will depend on how much I can present properly.
Here is piece I hope will go in the "Robots and Unicorns" show. I need to figure out the best way to show it. I can not find a pre-cut mat that will fit it so I may have to cut my own mat or mount it.
This bottom piece I submitted to a challenge on steemit. You can not see the whole piece in the frame; not sure if I will mount it or just lower it. Every time I touch the frame I get pastel on it. I do wish pastels were easier to work with.
I will give more info on the show later in the week, but the opening is December 9th from 8-11 at the Hive Gallery in downtown Los Angeles; anyone in the LA area?
