Negative Space Forest Sketch
This is from a pencil drawing project book. I wanted to post an Awesome Face today, but honestly I got caught up in stuff and decided against posting it too long after the alleged "sweet spot" of 5-6PM Central Time(Steemians, please feel free to chime in on whether or not that seems like a reliable time frame.)

I used to draw. A lot. Thought of myself as very artistic. Then I met my husband. Electrical engineer. Never took an art class, and is a master at portraits, landscapes, and more. I just fell back on writing fiction instead of trying to keep getting better at drawing and painting. I'm glad you're sticking with it! Very very few of us get to be Mozart, making it all look so effortless.
Thanks! Have you lost all desire to stick with visual art? I have the opposite problem in a way; I am slowly improving on drawing, but my writer's block has gone on for years for the same story on a level I have never even heard of from anyone else, whether it's someone I know personally or not. You probably have mastered handling such issues by now. 😺
