years ago i hitched across europe and ended up in Israel , i stayed in Jerusalem for a while in the old city in a hostel ran by Abdu and Tutu , funny and friendly , every night i would wonder the city ,i had it to my self it seemed , the ancient passages and moon lit ancient walls , on the third night i was stopped by two armed Isralie soldiers and told there was an eight o clock curfue , hense the deserted nature of the city , i was very naive and replied it doesnt apply to me im English and walked on they said nothing and just looked suprised ,

STOPIt still does. I never think of Blue when in the old city. But I like this very much.
i agree blue wasnt really the colour , but at night it was quite dark back then , im talking 30 years ago , and blue is a symbolic colour , i will go back again as i really want to visit the place again , i really enjoyed going down the water tunnel from the pool of sylome , half way down my candle went out and i did it in total darkness , and i would like to see Abdu and Tutu again
It's a special place. It needs peace, but I have hope.
