My Little Black Book pt. 1 (Images from a Depressed Mind)

Sitting in a drawer in my room, there is a black leather bound book. It was given to me by my sister when I was at the lowest point in my life. I was depressed, anxious, and suicidal. I didn’t know what the fuck I was doing.

On my birthday she surprised me with this journal. She wrote a note on the inside.

“This is for your thoughts, doodles, angsty rants, poetry, songs, and anything your creative heart desires. Let this be the outlet you need.”

That was 6 years ago.

Every time I filled a book, my sister got me a new one, each with a new message at the beginning.

I want to share with you some of the things inside that book and the books that followed.

These are from the first book. Just drawings but this was the beginning. I am going through all of these books and I will post more in chronological order.

There will be poetry, songs, stories, and rants, just like my sister wanted.
