Yes I know what you mean. I made some rollers with gelatine when I was teaching at USC back in 68. I got a section of plastic tubing about 1-foot diameter. The bottom end was a plastic disc with the handle in the center and the top was a cardboard template with the handle in the center but open. We mixed up the gelatine and poured it. It cost $20 or so to make. The press is another thing. There are print studios around that you can rent time in. We have on here in Ashland at the Art Center Gallery.
