Thank you for sharing that with me. I'm sorry to hear of your loss last summer. It's never easy to lose a family member, even if they lived a long, full life. I always choose to simply be grateful for the time I had with someone rather than dwell on them being taken away. That always seems to make it easier for me to deal with the loss.
I do have the same mindset. I feel blessed to have had such an amazing relationship and only look back with smiles, not tears.
