Art - Friend or Foe - Venom & Spider-man

Hello people!

How you doin'? Been busy in these previous months, so I did not have much time to post, still there is little time but will try and keep this blog rolling from time to time :D

Drew some new stuff! Spidey and Venom in a all in battle royale with the various symbiotes :D

Tried to make this one in a real comic book feel, scene or cover. Used regular pen and paper to sketch it and later on added some ink on it with an ink pen.

After all of that, use scanner to scan the piece and work on the colors in Photoshop, did some shadows here and there, lighting effects and voila!

Imagined a big fight intro sequence with this one where both Venom and Spidey are still working on figuring out who is a friend and who is a foe. Quite confused at the particular moment, they are not sure if they want to fight it out between themselves :D

Here's a bit of the process:

Sketching and figuring out the Venom phrase in this one, you can see the thin lines of a pen beneath the marker ones.

Full setup of pen and thin layer of ink on top of it

Finished lines and adjusted thickness of strokes here, so I can go on to color it after scanning

Colors, shadows and all, did a thingy here after finishing it all and brightened it all up a bit so it looks like it's a pic from some comic in the 90s era :D
