How YOU Can Create Art Just like GTA V 🔥
Greetings Steemians
If your reading this you must be into this style of art but unsure how to go about achieving it . This simple guide will give you a walk-through of my process of achieving this "look". Any Queries you got , shoot me a message ok :)
Ite So first thing you gotta do is find your reference image. If you are like me, getting an exact reference image that is similar to the art you want to create is highly favored.
Lets figure out what we are looking for in a reference picture :
- The Composition comprises mostly of "hard" shading .
(In case you are not familiar with it here's an image to help you visualize the difference between soft and hard shading
Hard Light vs Soft light
Images where hard light is used would be great for reference imagery
Start of by doing your basic outline
From there Select your hard mechanical brush tool , and your desired color to be used (go with the darker tone rather than a lighter tone)
Once you finished your base color
This illustration is to give you an idea of the base color ie . - 1 color tone that is used before the other tones are added to it.
Add your differing tones . What I do is dissect my reference image into all its colors and tones (just circle the different tones and number em , it aint rocket science : ) )so as to not confuse myself.
Now the shading and coloring will be off in some parts and thats ok , use the smudge tool and correct the wrong areas.
When you are finally satisfied with your color shading
- Add a next layer and outline your piece properly.
- Add a stock Gta V loading screen (without someone in it lol) and place the layer below your drawing and ur done.
Like this one (you can find ones like this all over the internet)
And voila ..You created Gta Splash art!
Thanks for viewing this tutorial , as I mentioned if you need clarification just shoot me a message and ill give assistance where I can.
