I photographed this alley during a visit to a refugee camp in Chaidari, Greece. These ugly boxes are home to families after they fled Syria and other difficult places. It’s hard for these people to find hope given all they have been through and what still lies ahead for them. Their lives are filled with days of monotonous waiting - waiting for visas, waiting for news, waiting for a return to normality.
