CONSPIRACY BLAST

Hello steemit familly,

Today I want to show you an artwork I did for college few months ago, the intention was to intervene a book creating forms with the material already included in it

The book I intervened talks about the murder of J. F. Kennedy (The Assassination Chain).

I found this book on the street and that’s basically why I decided to use it, but I also find interesting the topic and the amount of words as murder, death, FBI, CIA, conspiracy, war, etc. That are in it.

What I did was to penetrate some pages of the book from where I after cut some of these words that I already mentioned and others which were appearing to add them to the composition.

Then I folded the pages to the inside part of the book (loin) to get the effect you see in the pictures.

Finally, with a red color pen I remark all these words I wanted to emphasize since the book was riddled of them.

My intention was to generate a critical reaction in the viewer, decontextualizing these words witch our culture has normalized and maybe are not necessary in an ideal society.

I would love to read your opinions of what this artwork makes you feel because that's pretty much its sense, any point of view is valid.
