DIY : Rum bottle turned into a lamp!
Ever heard of Old Monk? It's an Indian dark rum, aged for around 8 years. The best part about it is the bottle. It's so beautifuland requires almost no paint to make it look amazing!
Here are a series of pictures that illustrate the transformation of this rum bottle into a night lamp.
First, thoroughly clean the bottle to get rid of any Rum smell, unless you like it, then it's cool.
Then paint the sections with different colors. I chose a combination of teal and red.
Once the bottles is painted and the bottle is dried, insert the fairy lights into the glass bottle.
Switch the light on in the dark.
Cannot get easier than that.

I like this. It would be cool if you painted the bottom then found a way to somehow mount it upside down. That way it would have the appearance of a more traditional lamp.
