我的原著手绘：参议院，罗马广场

当我站在那里的时候，我想到的第一个想法是：“哇，这是一栋完好无损的建筑，连屋顶都存在！”在游览了这么多古代遗址之后，我很少发现有四面墙的建筑物，更不用说屋顶了。
然后经过长时间的内外观察，我的想法是：“参议院怎么这么简单朴素？”这是一个简单的屋顶，基本上四面墙是个长方框。正面有3扇窗户和一个门口，背面只有一扇窗和两扇门。就这样。正面和背面的布置没有太大区别。没有列柱、没有门廊留下来，没有华丽的装饰品。没有什么可以显示其年代或重要性。
我一直在想，为什么凯撒会建立如此简单的事情来容纳参议院？他们是否故意这样做以表达他们对参议院的隑点感受？难度在两千年的时间里，所有漂亮而美丽的饰物都被除掉了，一丝不剩吗？
我问温和的风，但它却不语，只忙着玩弄着树枝儿。

My Original Sketch: The Senate House, Roman Forum

While I was standing there, the first thought came to my mind was that: "wow, this is one building that survived intact, even with a roof!" For after touring so many ancient sites, it was seldom that I found a building with four walls, let alone a roof.
Then after a long period of looking both outside and inside, my thought was: "How come the Senate House is so plain and simple?" It was a basic rectangular box with a simple Pitch Roof. The front has 3 windows plus a doorway, and the back only with one window and 2 doors. That's all. There is not much difference in treatment between the front and the back. There are no columns not porch that remained, no decorations. nothing to reveal its age nor importance.
I kept thinking that why would the Ceasars build such a simple thing to house the Senate? Did they do this on purpose to express their feeling toward the Senate? Were all the nice, beautiful ornaments removed during the two thousand years?
I asked the gentle wind, but it was too busy blowing at the trees.
