Meteora, Greece

My watercolor of the Meteora hills. This the the most famous natural fairy land of Greece. It has a storybook scenery. Instead of castles, it is monastery on top of the lonely hill. The isolation must have provided security as well as solitude for the monks. Today only a few monks still live there.
