It sounds like a creation story of our new earth. Trees are plants on extended bits of earth (mineralised trunks) anyway. There is a prophesy in there somewhere about the great drought with the devestation of woods that are not allowed to renew themselves or maybe, as bad, the modern way of planting artificial woods with trees too close together.
