On my main account, I am currently writing a story called "Luna 3", which plays in a future where human have colonized several moons of our solar system.

At the same time, cephalopods (short "Cephs" or, how the humans call them, "Cephis") have evolved to a degree that they're feeling, conscious beings that can speak our language and are desperately trying to survive.

As planet earth is no longer a suitable place to stay, they've come to the human colonies too, where they're mistreated and even sometimes eaten.

@alexs1320 wanted me to draw a Ceph, but for that, but by doing that I'll spoil the story for some of you. So if you want, click here to read Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6 and Part 7, in case you want to read the story and not be spoiled. Then come back.

And here we go, the Ceph:

I decided to draw both, a Ceph and a Ceph-arm fused with a human, as Cephs look very much like our current cephalopods.

As mentioned in the story, a Ceph's color changes depending on their mood. Inside a human, the color changes might still happen, but aren't as specific anymore as they used to be in the functioning Ceph. Still, if the arm feels happy, it might just assume the same color it would have, back when it was still attached to its main system.

Of course, the color change isn't seen by anyone, which can be distressing for the arm in question. But what isn't distressing about being implanted in a human's body?
