Portraits : Not my strong point

I fully admit that the accuracy of portrait painting is not my strong point......though I do, every now and again, have a go, just to prove to myself I still can, if rather crudely. The first are my gran and dad, both departed now. They were much easier to paint, which i am guessing is due to familiarity. The third is a cardinal whose picture I came across. Very much, NOT EASY!
