Getting late here and just finished coloring this up before bed so wanted to post. The jaggy rough look I thought fit the old 40k style stuff.
Wanted that dark muted feeling and used the light of the weapon/neck of his armor to sort of represent all that was keeping him alive. The ray of hope in the dark dark world of 40k.
Instead of red tint that suit in some Hail Hydra greens and it could be Baron von Strucker on Pacific Rim roids lol.
Seriously enjoy the piece, my favorite part is that hand right out front, love that it is basically a silhouette but stands out nicely in front of him.
The glow and spray of laser light is beautiful. I love that glow of warm yellow shot over greyed hues, it's magic to the eye.

Warhammer, I remember when I was a kid, I use to cover for my friend when he stole Warhammer figurines from the Warhammer store. lol

Lovely @steemitadventure. I like the symbolism of the light pouring out from the sword and armour. It reminds me of Brandon Sanderson's Storm light Archives. It lights the warrior's path as well as a sign of power.
