Cat Shading

I learned that it is easier to draw animals and faces when you first imagine them as shapes to understand eye and mouth placements and then add detail to give the image a more realistic appeal. Cats are my favorite animals and this was a practice sketch round to understand placement. I still have a lot of learning and practicing to do to improve my sketches but this was a start.
