Abstract Owl (Work In Progress) - Oil on canvas

I've been longing to have a go at oil painting so this is my first attempt. It's not so much about the painting itself but about just learning the feel of the paint and trying to teach myself to zone in and forget the world for a while. My 6 year old says it has too much pink and needs more orange :) If anyone else has an opinion or critique I'd love to hear it! I'll keep this updated for any followers that are interested :)
