I harvest the wood from our orchard and surrounding forest, usually when pruning the fruit trees in the spring. Sometimes I find some nice wood on a hike or beach. Most of the blades I use are made in Idaho by one of my friends, he is very skilled, I am not so much when it comes to knapping.
