Alphonse Mucha and his paintings

Traveling through Prague, I came across an interesting museum dedicated to the work of the famous artist, illustrator and jewelry designer Alfons Maria Mukha.

All works of the Flies are distinguished by a unique and unique style.
In the series of his paintings of the cycle "Slavic epic", you will see such works as King Přemysl Otakar II or Hussite King Jiří Poděbrady and 18 more paintings in this series.
Each painting of the Flies reflects a certain event from the life of the Slavic people.
What amazed me is the magnitude of the paintings, many monumental canvases reach 8 meters.

The fly owned various techniques of painting. But in almost all his paintings the center of composition is a young beautiful woman of Slavic appearance, with luxurious hair, sometimes graceful, sometimes fatal, but always very tender and charming.
I also liked this picture, which is called "Spirit of Spring".

Pictures of the Fly are very memorable, I walked around the museum as fascinated. Nothing around did not notice except the paintings themselves, as if transferred to the times of Sarah Bernhardt. Sensations not transferable.

It's so great, in one post it's impossible to tell about all the works of A. Mukha, besides he created numerous sketches and sketches, which you can also see in one of the halls of the museum. He sketched everywhere, even on an ordinary menu, on envelopes.

Seeing the picture of a fly, one of the jewelers of the famous Fuke dynasty, suggested the artist to become a designer. And in the photo below is a magnificent brooch made according to Mucha's sketch.
