work in progress: the Emu

After the sketch that I made some hours ago, I decided to work on the subject of funny Emu using my oil colors on paper.

Here is the 10:00 pm, so the pics are not very good, sorry, but I can't resist to share with you this "work in progress" ^_^

The painting is still unfinished, but you can see the funny face of the Emu.

Watching my sketch I drew some simple signs and, after, I painted the first coat of the background.

I painted the main campiture of the emu and, after, I painted some details and I worked on the shadow and on the light.

Now I'm a bit tired, so I'll finish this piece tomorrow ^_^
