My new tiny freaky house is ready!
Today I finished my new tiny wooden house and I'm very satisfied by the result!!
It was inspired by flowers in the Spring, but at the end I admit that it reminds me also the sea floor because the colors that I used for it it's a interesting shades of Blue Green (it's Phthalo Blue Green ^_^ ).
After the first steps that I did yesterday (you can see the pics of the process here), today I added the yellow grey and the metal legs to the wooden house:
This house (like the others that I did for my series "Monolocalu Biculi") has the eyes inpired by the black bird and 4 screws as legs. The first time I exposed some of them, one my costumers said me that these freaky houses remind to the house of Baba Yaga, but I have to say that I read abut the Baba Yaga house just after. The idea of these houses came from some thoughts that I had thinking about my first exhibition (on the theme "houses") and after my first time in the Hide Park where I watched ducks and black birds with big yellow eyes ^_^
I hope you like it ^_^
See ya soon
Silvia
Dear Silvia, you are so talented, everything you do is so beautiful and picturesque, Happy Sunday
Very nice, but weird. I'm not used to houses looking at me.
Sometimes they looks at me, sometimes they look back to me to protect me, like the body guards :P
These are so adorable. I want them for my mantle. :) Your color schemes are soft and pleasing and calming to the eye.
You amaze me how you find inspiration for your art. Bird eyes....of course :)
Thanks so much, dear @countrygirl ! It's always a nice sensation for me when I finished one of this house and I admit that when I look at their eyes I smile because they remind me funny things ^_^
This is an interesting piece of art. And you take your time to make them similar as the real thing. How long does it take to master this skill? Because i know this can be made and sold too.
I'm studing art from about 5 years, but it's an "intensive" class for me because my teacher is my hubby (he's a sculptor and painter from more than 20 years ^^) . To make this tiny house I need a couple of days because I use oil colors and they need to dry step by step ^^
Sure it takes time to do art and a lot of commitment too. I admire your skill.
Beatiful!!! They look (to me) a lot a mix between the works of two guys I like a lot, the illustrations of Johan Thörnqvist and the photos of Laurent Chehere :)
Btw, is it possible to get one of this houses? ;)
I've never seen the illustrations of Thörnqvist and Chehere and so I just searched them on the net: I have no words!!! Wowowowow, theirs works are really fantastic! Thanks so much to give me their name, I'm always interesting on how different artist work around the "house" theme!

I have to try to sell them also here using steembay ;)
@silviabeneforti these wooden houses on metallic legs are so beautiful. Especially the color combination of sea ambience.
You are a creative person having noticed the eyes of fauna around and applying same in your art.
Kudos👍❤
Many thanks for your nice words, @wanderess ^_^
