Happy Saturday with Little Red Riding Hood!
Little Red Riding Hood is a tale that every mom and every granny tell to her children before to sleep.
There are many versions of the same tale, but I run to tell you the Grimm's version, the most famous in Italy.
In this tale there is a little child called Red Hooded Cape because she wears a red hooded cape ^_^ The mom of this little child gives her a mission: to deliver food to her granny, that lives in the middle of the forest!
The mom orders her to pay attention, because the big bad woolf that lives in the forest can eat her!
So scary!
Do you think that the Red Hooded Cape has been attention?
No!
During the story, the woolf try some tricks to capture (and eat) the child, but thanks to an hunter the Red Hooded Cape and her granny are save!
In the Grimm's version the "end" of the woolf is really violent and bloodiest and when I was a child it scared me more then the thoughts that the woolf can eat the children. So, I used to tell this tale to my daughter changing the end ^_^
This morning, thinking about the tales, I draw a fast sketch where you can see my confused version of the story: Red Hooded Cape finds the rabbit hole of Alice in Wonderland ^_^
Happy Saturday to you all and pay attention to the big woolf (maybe he can eat your breakfast, not you ^_^)

thanks ^_^
An applause to moms and grannies that read with their children! I loved being told all these wonderful stories and still have a lot of these books at home :)
Enjoy your creative weekend!
I agree with you, @surfermarly ! An applause to moms and grannies ! In my family we love to tell these old tales to the children, sometimes reading the books, sometimes creating different stories. I think it's agreat resources for children and a nice way to grow up ^_^
