My #Penciltember Sketches (5-8)
Dear friends,
here comes my second batch of september pencil sketches, that I did following the idea of @bryan-imhoff. The first one is actually a bonus drawing, that I did on a piece of paper rather than in my moleskine. As you can see, some ideas and techniques are coming back, which is totally ok in my opinion.
Which one is your favorite?
Here are all the drawings again in higher resolution.
Hope you like 'em!
Please also check out my penciltember sketches 1-4, if you've not seen them yet.
Thanks for watching!
@shortcut
I like the naked robot in the first big image and I like what looks like a disassembled clock work in the last one. Did my guesses come anyway near what you were trying to portray in those images? :-)
Thanks @bescouted - I'm really trying not to think about any topic while drawing. It's more like focusing on the particular techniques. For example when doing the "naked robot" I was thinking about "circles", while doing the "clockwork" I was thinking about spaces and negative spaces.
So you just basically let some spirit guide your hand through it? :)
Yes, that's basically what I try to do.
Nice, because you can even be surprised yourself what comes out of it :-) I bet it's a good practice and training.
Wow they are really amazing and I can see the great effort you put in them, I also made an iron man transformation post today and it came out to be very beautiful, as you love sketches, so that may be nice for you to have a look at it.
Thanks a lot! I also liked you iron man drawing a lot! Especially the hair part is pretty amazing.
Cool, I especially like the first two, very funky :)
Good to see you're keeping it up!
Thank you! For me it's a real good practise and lots of fun :-)
the second picture with the glasses remember me about something which I cant remember right now. maybe it will come back again, nice work and upvoted
Thank you! Let me know when you remember.
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.
