Models of world interpretation [Fine Art - Bauhaus University Weimar]
Dear patrons,
today I want to show you some artworks made by the fine art class of Prof. Jana Gunstheimer and Tom Ackermann. They were exhibited during the yearly summaery of the Bauhaus University in July 2017.
"From 13 to 16 July 2017 the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar celebrated the end of the semester with its annual »summaery« show. Throughout the city students and instructors presented their current discourses, positions, work and research projects in the form of exhibitions, performances, readings and demonstrations." (Source)
The subject of this exhibiton has been:
Models of world interpretation
Without further ado, let's step right into the works.
This painting looked like some waves or like a landscape at night.
Some (unfinished) Origami placed on concrete.
Chalk on slates - I found this very inspiring in its simplicity.
A series of black and white paintings containing some internet acronyms and symbols.
A very interesting piece with organic structures.
Shades of white.
Two weak chairs, one made of foam the other of cardboard.
A panorama-image of one of the rooms. (I guess my lens was a bit dirty)
Some details of this work.
An installation that looked like a bathroom on acid.
Engagement with tobacco warning messages.
Great painting of a studio from a bird's eye view.
Some kind of destructive art, that I like.
A special table, where fluids can flow into a bucket, that is placed below.
My favorite piece: A stitched image of a surveillance camera placed on purple velvet.

Last, but not least, here are some inside views from the building:
The sculpture is called "The Night" and made by German scultor Adolf Brütt.
I hope you liked my fine art tour of up-and-coming artists -
If you did I'd apprecite your vote.
Totally envious of the panorama shot ;-)
I really like taking panorama shots with my mobile from time to time. This one was a little messed up, though. Anyways, thanks for your feedback ;-)
Whoa that sculpture in the end takes my breath away. I enjoy the variety in the artworks you're sharing here. Makes me want to seek out more local art shows.
Great! I really love to inspire people this way :-)
Der Tisch ja mal genial. Wo Flüssigkeiten abbauen können. Echt gut.
wow amazing photography.....
Thank you :-)

Please don't ask for follow back. It's annoying.
