#67 - Art Evolution
Today I want to show you that creating art is often a process.
Actually 'nothing comes from nothing'.

The image above is the 6th image of a series, where I tried to develop a piece of art and dig deeper into what it wants to tell me.

The image above was the 1st image of the series, actually just a scribble.

In the 2nd image of the series I tried to develop some parts that I liked and also added some new ideas (e.g. the piano and the snake).

In the 3rd image I ditched some of the new ideas and just played around a bit more.

Then I tried to abstract the ideas again in the 4th image.

Even more abstraction in the 5th image.

Then I drew the image, that you saw first, which is the 6th image. As you can see I was trying to bring all the ideas from image 1-5 to a new level.

Last but not least, I even tried a 7th version of the image. I just wanted to be sure, that the process was really finished and I didn't miss an important idea.
I hope you liked the short insight into my artistic process.
Thanks for watching!
@shortcut
What a very interesting process @shortcut. I love all the pieces but the last 2 are definitely intriguing. You have a very interesting brain. :D
Thanks for your appreciation. The truth is: I don't know if it's the brain or something different that let's me do this kind of stuff.
Cool drawings :)
Thanks, glad you like 'em.
Very interesting I showed this to my girlfriend. What other kind of work do you do ?
Cool, I'm happy that it's interesting for you and your girlfriend. I'm doing a (nearly) daily artpost here. So you might just want to visit my profile page and scroll through my posts to get a good overview of my work. Also feel free to follow me for more stuff like this!
I find your drawings fascinating, seeing the process I am even more in awe!
