Russian Artist Alexander Tyshler

Alexander Tyshler (1898 - 1980) - a recognized classics of scenography, known for his works for Shakespeare's productions, painter, easel painter, author of graphic series.

The artist liked to depict designs that were based on figures or around the heads of their heroes and heroines, as well as structures made up of small human figures. The artist is considered the forerunner of the "unofficial art", nonconformism: having given due credit to the theme of revolutionary agitation in his youth, the master for a long time created original phantasmagoric plots and did not follow the course of socialist realism.
