If you don't want to read Berserk, at least watch the old animation. Please don't watch the new ones except if you want to see something atrocious and funny xD.
                       
Since you like Devilman Crybaby, I have a feeling that you will like Berserk. The mangaka himself admits that Devilman is an inspiration for him :).
