Oggi voglio farvi vedere una piccola opera fatta da me.
Questo disegno è una copia del famoso quadro di Gustav Klimt: IL BACIO.

Descrizione dell'opera

Questo quadro ritrae due amanti che si stringono e si abbandonano ad un bacio intenso; la fanciulla è pienamente abbandonata nell'abbraccio, con gli occhi chiusi , mentre l'uomo - dil profilo - stringe la testa dell'amata con delicatezza, protendendosi verso di lei in segno protettivo e di affetto.
Delle due figure, le uniche parti realizzate in maniera naturalistica sono i volti, le mani e le gambe della donna. Per il resto l’uomo e la donna sono interamente coperte da vesti riccamente decorate. Quella dell’uomo è realizzata con forme rettangolari erette in verticale, mentre la veste della donna è decorata con forme curve concentriche. La differente geometria delle due vesti è espressione della differenza simbolica tra i due sessi.
L’eleganza formale e il sottile erotismo del dipinto sono aspetti tipici del gusto dell’epoca (la cosiddetta “belle epoque”) e del movimento della Secessione Viennese (l’Art Nouveau che si sviluppò in Austra). E proprio del movimento secessionista Klimt fu anche presidente.

Tecnica
per questo disegno ho semplicemente utilizzato la matita per i contorni dei volti, colori a matita per le sfumature dei volti e pennarelli per lo sfondo e i vestiti dei due amanti.

Today I want to show you a drawing done by me.
This drawing is a copy of the famous painting by Gustav Klimt: THE KISS.

Description of the work

This picture portrays two lovers who are abandoning to an intense kiss; the girl is completely abandoned in her embrace, her eyes are closed, while the man - in profile - clutches the head of her beloved gently, protruding toward her in a protective and affectionate sign.
Of the two figures, the only naturalistic parts are the faces, the hands and the legs of the woman. For the rest, the man and the woman are entirely covered with richly decorated clothes. The man is made of straight rectangular shapes, while the woman's dress is decorated with concentric curved shapes. The different geometry of the two garments is the expression of the symbolic difference between the two sexes.
Formal elegance and subtle eroticism of the painting are typical aspects of the taste of the time (the so-called "fine epoque") and the movement of the Vienna Secession (the Art Nouveau that developed in Austra). Klimt was also the president of the secessionist movement .

Technique
For this drawing I simply used the pencil for face contours, pencil colors for face shades and markers for the background and the clothes of the two lovers.
